Hi everyone and happy first day of October! I want to share an Autumn Hoop that I created for ClearSnap. I started by spritzing Log Cabin Smooch Spritz into a plastic bowl and adding a small amount of water to create a stain. I saturated a fabric scrap and wipe down the wooden hoop until the desired color was achieved. I put the hoop a side and let dry.
I cut from white cardstock nine leaves from the Millinery Leaves Diecuts. I inked up a glass tray with the following inks: Eileen Hull ColorBox Blends: Nutmeg, Sunshine, Golden, Frog and Melon and ColorBox Premium Dye Coral Ink and added water to the inks. I placed the leaves in the inks mixture until all were covered. Once dry I placed each leaf in the Textured Impressions embossing folder and run through the diecut machine. Next I lightly ink the veins of each of the leaves with the ColorBox Petal Point Fluid Soft Pastel Chalk Ink Pad.
I inked the glass tray with Eileen Hull ColorBox Blends: Nutmeg Ink and add water and loaded a paint brush with watered down ink and splatter each leaf. Once dry I shaped with a stylus and my hand.
I cut from white cardstock several Sizzix/Eileen Hull: Heart and Soul Flowers Diecuts and inked a glass tray with Eileen Hull ColorBox Blends: Sunshine and Golden Inks, added water and laid each flower in the ink, remove and let dry.
Next I shaped the flowers with stylus and adhered together. I layered buttons and a sequin in the center of each flower and adhered. I glued the larger of the two flowers to the top center of the wooden hoop.
I added a layered mix of the other smaller flower, leaves, twigs and Fall Berry Sprays around the top of the hoop. I finished by adhering several loops of cording to the arrangement.
As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.
Thanks for stopping by, hope your Monday is wonderful and enjoy creating!
Perfect project for fall! The flowers are gorgeous and colors are perfect ♥️
