Robin's Nest: Love Makes my Tea Cup Over Flow

Hi everyone! I am back as a guest designer this month for the Robin's Nest. I want to share a quick project I created using a sheet of the Lips Glittered Cardstock which I printed this  Tea cup and Saucer printable on to it. It is a very easy project to do. All you have to do is, of course, print and then cut the cup and saucer out and glue together. For more photos and how to please check out the Chattering Robin's blog!

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Saturday is awesome and enjoy creating!

Canvas Corp: Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful

Hi everyone! I'm here to share my very first project as a Marketing Contributor:Papercrafts for Canvas Corp. The whole CCB Crew was given a 4x4 Stretched Natural Canvas to decorate anyway we wanted as long as it represented me/my style. Well, this is what I came up with. First I spritzed with both, Bahama Blue Glimmer MistMint Julip Glimmer Mist on the canvas and let dry.

I used a combination of Maritime 6x6 Paper PadPoses and Reflections Gypsy Moments CardstockConservatory 6x6 Paper Pad, to decorate the front and sides of the canvas along with a few embellishments I had on hand.

This is one of my favorite sayings and knew it was the perfect choice to be included. The gems that I used on the butterfly as its body is from an old prom dress.

The dancer I fussy cut from the Poses and Reflections Gypsy Moments Cardstock and I added the butterfly wings which I cut from the Conservatory 6x6 Paper Pad. I finished her off with a little banner I cut from scraps, beads and twine.
This is the first time I have ever had a chance to decorate a canvas and let me tell you. I am hooked!!! I had so much fun with this that I bought some more to try my hand at...so stay tuned to see what I come up with on those. ;-)
If you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Supplies Used:

Other Supplies: Paper Doily, Beads, Twine, Gems, Dew Drops, Sequins, Thread, Pearlized Pins, Buttons, Chalk Ink, Paper Flower, Tulle

Welcome Baby

Hi everyone!I'm here to share this adorable house container I created for a baby shower. I used Eileen Hull's Gift Card Holder, House and the Box, Square diecuts and the Mat Board Sheets. In the photo below shows how I cut the pieces out except I did cut another house back and I measured, scored and cut a roof too. I got carried away and forgot to take a photos of that. lol :-)

I used cardstock from Heidi Grace and My Mind's Eye to cover the outside and inside of the house.

I added hinges to the door so it could be opened and a photo along with birthing info can be added if the parents choose to do so.

The roof I raided my jar or yellow buttons and glued each and everyone to the roof...very time consuming be well worth it.

An inside peek of the house.

I finished off with sequins, buttons, a dew drop, pom pom trim and a little welcome banner.
If you have any questions please let me know.
Also I am submitting this project for: Eileen Hull's Art with Heart Challenge and the Word Art Wednesday Challenge #167.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Sunday is awesome and enjoy creating!

Happiness Junk Journal

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a few photos and a video of  a junk journal that I created for myself...which is a rare thing...most of the time I create things for swaps or design team projects.

I used a lot of scraps of cardstock from previous projects, embellishments I had received in swaps and used a few digital images I had found on the internet.

The cover is out of a file folder and there are 12 papers per signature with a total of 5 signatures and in all there are 240 pages front and back in this journal.

I received the butterfly image from Debbie-Anne who has Ephemera's Vintage Garden on etsy. I love the zipper and dress pins I added to it to give it that quirkiness.

I am submitting this journal for the following challenges:
Eileen Hull's Art with Heart Challenge
Paper Wings Productions Monthly Challenge

Hope you enjoy the video!

If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for stopping by, hope your day is awesome and enjoy creating!

Crafty Card Gallery: Just a Note of Thanks!

Hi everyone! I'm here to share a quick card I created for the Crafty Card Gallery. For this month's challenge we had to come up with a thank you card.
I started with a folded 3"x6" piece of cardstock as my base and cut a piece of typewriter cardstock slightly smaller than the base of the card.

I  dug through my mass collection of scraps and then cut various sizes of cardstock which I adhered to the bottom half of the card. The vintage typewriter is a digital image I found online and can't remember where I found it. Just do a google/bing search for vintage typewriters and there's a ton of images out there.

I printed and then fussy cut the the typewriter out, used a little chalk ink to give it an old look. I also cut a slit in the typewriter so I cut add the "Just a note of thanks!"(printed off the computer) in and make it look like it was actually typed out. I finished off the card with two little hand cut banners, button, sequin and a dew drop.
The hardest thing about this card is the fussy cutting. :-) If you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Sunday is wonderful and enjoy creating!

Canvas Corp Cards at CHA

Hi everyone! It seems like it has been awhile since my last post but I needed to take a moment and be still. I had been non-stop all the way up until the first of the year working on design team projects. I was also asked by Camille from Canvas Corp if they sent me cardstock (new product) would I be willing to do cards for the possibility of being used at CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) or being used in an upcoming look-book. Well, of course I said yes. :-) I came up with 12 cards which I mailed off at the last possible moment (December 31st) and was very happy that it arrived in Camille's hands on the 3rd of January.
I am now able to share with everyone since CHA is over with. Also Jennifer from Crafty Card Gallery had gone to CHA and took photos of my cards on display which I included some in this blog post.
Hope you enjoy the cards. :-)

If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for stopping by, hope your Wednesday is wonderful and enjoy creating!

P.S. I revamped my blog and had a new banner designed by Tiffany Jane which I think she did an awesome job on! :-)

Bundle Up Cause it's Cold Outside!

Hi everyone! I'm here to share a project I created using a folded 6"x6" piece of Winter Retreat Glitter Swirl Cardstock. I printed this free digital image from Land of Nod Studio. I love the fun colors of the clothing on the children in this photo.

I added burlap as a mat to the photo along with a crumpled piece of Brown on Brown Glitter Cardstock and beige scalloped tulle which I gathered, folded and tied off with thread.

Also I cut a snowflake from some thin white chipboard, inked the edges with a light blue chalk ink. I adhered it to the card base and added sequins and dew drops. Next I added pop dots to the back of the digital image and then adhered to the card and lastly I made several bows from brown thread and glued around the image and then finished off with a  chipboard snowflake. And there you have it…I really love how this card turned out and hope you like it too.
If you have any questions please let me know.
