Chapter Two Blog Hopping with Eileen Hull: Boho Trinket Box

Hi everyone! Today is the day! Thanks for joining us for the Eileen Hull Release Party Blog Hop! The Inspiration Team is excited they can finally share their Sizzix Chapter 2 projects. All throughout April, the designers will be sharing tutorials and videos!
The Tiny Book measures 2 1/4” x 3” and is just the right size for wallet size photos, stamps, quotes, tags or tiny cards. The Tiny Book Case is designed to hold the book, a gift card, earrings, or small treats. If you haven’t gotten your hands on a Tiny Book and Tiny Book Case yet, you can find them at your local retailer, HERE or in Eileen’s ETSY Store.
I created a little trinket box with the Tiny Book Case. I started by applying Adhesive Sheets to both sides of the Matboard before placing patterned cardstock to both sides of the matboard. I placed the diecut on top of the matboard and run through the Diecut Machine. I folded and adhered together according to the direction on the packaging.

I punched a hole with a Crop-A-Dile into the top center of the flap on the box.

I added the clap to the elastic before tying off on the inside of the box.

I adhered a couple of scalloped circle punches to the clasp along with a frozen Charlotte doll from my stash. I finished off by adhering pom pom trim to the flap, thread, a flower and leaf punch to the clasp.

Now for the fun stuff! Please hop down the list to see what the team has been working on. If you leave a "love" (comment) on each of the designer’s posts by April 6th, you will be entered to win a Tiny Book die! The winner will be announced on Eileen’s Facebook Live on Tuesday, April 7th. Pretty easy huh?

Sneak Peek of Eileen Hull's Newest Diecut!

Hi everyone! It's been a bit since my last blog post. I had to go to Nashville and watch my grandson for the past two weeks while my son and daughter in law work from home because of covid-19 so I didn't get any blog posts finished but did get some crafting in after my son and daughter in law's work day ended. I do hope everyone is taking care of themselves.

But the reason I'm on today is I want to share a sneak peek of  my project using Eileen Hull's newest diecut that will be released. The Inspiration Team will be doing a blog hop April 1st and Eileen will be doing a Facebook Live that you don't want to miss. So set your calendars and be sure to come back on April 1st to see the complete reveal and hop along with the rest of the team! I've also included a link to view all of Eileen Hull's diecuts HERE.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Tuesday is wonderful and enjoy creating!

Wings and Things Notebook Planner

Hi everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful long Memorial Day weekend! I did! I got to spend time with my son, daughter in law and grandson...I even got to watch Baby O while his mom and dad went out for the evening...that was fun. 😊
Well, I would like to share my latest project with you all. Since I am in a swap on instagram I thought I would combined the swap with my project I created for Eileen Hull this month.

I started by applying Eileen's newest product, Easy Cut Adhesive (Eileen's etsy shop is out at the moment but I went a head and tagged her shop which can be found HERE) to the Chipboard and then I picked cardstock for both the outside and inside covers from Crate Paper Chasing Dreams Paper Pad. I peeled the backing from the adhesive sheet and placed the cardstock on the cover. I did the same for the inside cover too. I then placed on top of the  Notebook Diecut and ran through the Diecut Machine. I cut the notebook in half at the "center fold" and then folded both of the small "flaps" down. I cut a two inch wide by five inch long piece of chipboard and then adhered the small flaps to either side of the 2"x5" of chipboard. I wanted to add more journals to the notebook and this was the perfect solution to extending the spine.

I cut and adhered a smaller piece of chipboard to fit between the flaps on the spine.

I measured in 1/2 inch increments and marked the holes at the top and bottom of the spine.

I punched the holes in the top and bottom of the spine with a Crop-A-Dile. I cut cardstock and Easy Cut Adhesive to fit the spine. I applied the adhesive sheet to the cardstock and then placed on the spine. I punched over the holes again.

I decorated the cover with some past Crate Paper chipboard/embellishemnt pieces and fussy cut butterflies and leaves from one of the paper pads (retired).

Before adding elastic cording I added eyelets to the holes of the spine. I also added a mini envelope to the back cover. I only glued two of the sides down so notes and tags could be added behind the envelope.

I created a folder from a file folder and used an assortment of cardstock and stickers (Crate Paper) to decorate the cover.

I adhered pom pom trim to the inside edge and added sticky notes just in case my swap partner needs to jot down something.

This little notebook has blank pages in it and I thought it would be perfect to either draw or even do memory keeping in it. I decorated the cover with more cardstock and stickers.

The last two notebooks I bought in a pack of three at the Dollar Tree (you can find these notebooks in packs of two at Walmart). The size of these notebooks are 3.25"x4.5".

Like the other notebook and folder I decorated both sides with patterned cardstock, stickers, trim and chipboard/diecuts.

I slid all the notebooks and folder underneath the elastic cording.

I love how the pom pom trim looks from the side of the notebook planner! 😍 Also be sure to hop on over to Eileen Hull's blog and see what the Inspiration Team has been up to! You can find the posts for this month HERE and HERE.

Memories Traveler's Notebook Cover

Hi everyone! I am back with my second blog post of the month for Momenta! I'm big into planners and I love that Momenta has an assortment of travelers notebooks for planning, doodling, journaling and goal setting.

I decided that I would decorate the cover of the Planner Pages Notebook and try to at least do highlights of what is happening for that particular month. The notebook has a calendar for each month with two lined pages.

I started by cutting cardstock from the Watercolor Metallic Paper Pad to fit the front and back of notebook. Before adhering to the covers I lightly inked the edges of the cardstock.

I cut the largest Rectangle Border Diecut from a piece of cardstock from the Metallic Ink  Paper Pad.

I matted the diecut with two different colors from the same paper collection and added a  4" Watercolor Doily and adhered to the cover.

I cut two small banners and adhered to the doily. I selected a floral cardstock from the Peony Paper Pad and fussy cut one of the flowers out and glued to the banners on the cover of the notebook. I placed white cardstock along with adhesive backing already applied to the white cardstock on top of the memories diecut which is from the Hope/Dream/Believe Cutting Templates and run through the Diecut Machine. I placed the memories die above the banner on the cover.

I added Ric Rac trim to the front edge of the cover and on the inside I added Pom Pom trim to finish off the notebook.  For more inspiration click on the Momenta link HERE.

Also I am having problems with blogger where I can't respond to comments left on my blog. I have emailed blogger/google and have yet to receive a response to my problem. If you do have questions I do have an Instagram page that you can leave a comment if you need to. You can find my Instagram link HERE.

ClearSnap: God is Everlasting Love Tag

Hi everyone! I'm back again today with another new set of stamps from ClearSnap! This set is called Bible Clear Stamps and they are perfect for Bible journaling, cards or words of encouragement.

I cut old sheet music to fit the 6.25"x3.125 tag and Mod Podge the whole tag and place the cut sheet music onto the Mod Podged area. Next I inked an art dauber with Creamy Brown Chalk Ink and ink all edges of the tag and adhered a doily off center and glued the excess to the back side of the tag.

I inked the dove stamp with Wicked Black Ink and stamp onto piece of cream cardstock and fussy cut the dove image out. Next I inked a glass tray with Ice Jade and Aquamarine Chalk Inks and added a small amount of water to each ink. I painted the leaves and stem with Ice Jade and highlighted the leaves with Aquamarine.

I inked "God is" and "Everlasting" with Wicked Black Ink and stamp onto a piece of cream cardstock and cut out and ink edges with Creamy Brown Chalk Ink. Next I inked "Love" with Wicked Black Ink and stamp onto a piece of patterned cardstock. Fussy cut the word out and adhered "God is", "Everlasting" and "Love" on top of the doily.

I cut a small strip of patterned cardstock and adhere underneath the "Love" image. Glued the dove to the strip of cardstock and added a gem to the center of the flower.

At the bottom of the tag I adhered pom pom trim and cut an 1 1/2" piece of lace and glue to the bottom corner of the tag and add a button. I finished off by cutting a  6" piece of lace and tie to the top of the tag. As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

I would also like to submit this project for the following challenge:

Eileen Hull: Peaches and Cream Felt Planner Journal

Hi everyone! I'm back again with another project using Eileen Hull's Wrapped Journal Diecut but this time I made a planner out of it!

Before placing felt over the Wrapped Journal Diecut I placed the Movers and Shapers Floral Cutout Die inside the opening of the wrapped journal diecut  and cut out the journal. Then I used the Magnetic Platform and placed the Movers and Shapers Scallop Border Diecut and place the end of the wrapped journal over the scalloped die and cut.

Next I cut Tan Paper Leather to fit the inside of the journal and adhered with Fabri-Tac adhesive. This will make the journal sturdier.

Next I cut a piece of pleather to fit over the paper leather and adhered to the inside.

I forgot to add that before adhering the paper leather and pleather to the inside I adhered tulle behind the floral design. The buttons I threads and tied off on the backside and adhered to the center of each floral cutout.

I adhered Pom Pom trim and lace to the outer inside edge of the journal.

I strung the spine with elastic cording and the closure I threaded elastic cording through the button and then sewed to the middle of the spine. I also added bits of lace, trim and ribbon to the spine.

I purchased a pack of three mini composition notebooks from the Dollar Tree and covered the front and back with cardstock.

I used an assortment of chipboard embellishments from my stash to decorate the covers.

I cut a file folder down and created a place to hold stitchy notes and washi tape samples.

I cut from white cardstock the Credit Card Sleeve Diecut, embossed with the Daisy Wreath Embossing Folder and lightly inked over the embossed images. I adhered the sleeve to the folder, cut a tag to fit the slot and wrapped washi tape around the tape in case I wanted to decorate the planner on the go.

I created a pen loop to hold an ink pen inside the planner. I cut flowers and a leaf from felt with the Stitchy Flowers and Leaf Diecuts and adhered together and added a gem to the center of the flower.

I wrapped a small piece of elastic around the pen I am going to use in my planner and cut. Next I adhered each side of the elastic on either side of the binder clip, adhere the felt flower to the side of the binder clip and clip to the folder or notebook and add the pen.

I used motivational saying on the covers of the notebooks.

As always if you have any questions about this planner please let me know. Also if you haven't had a chance to see what Eileen's Inspiration Team has been up to you can find those posts HERE, HERE and HERE.
