ClearSnap: Dad and Me Jar

Hi everyone! I'm back with another quick and easy project for Father's Day using a few of my favorite ColorBox Blends. I started by applying Beach and Leaf ColorBox Blends onto a glass tray. I placed the Zig Zag Art Screen on top of the Tag. I inked up an Art Dauber with beach ink and applied over the stencil. I repeated the same steps with the leaf ink. I removed the stencil and with the art daubers I rub the excess ink over the white of the tag. I also cut approximately an inch off of the bottom of the tag.

I stamped the Dad Bear and Child Bear stamp onto four different pieces of patterned cardstock with ColorBox Archival Dye Wicked Black Ink. I fussy cut dad bear, child bear, sweater and pattern image from sweater out separately and adhered pieces together. I cut a piece of patterned cardstock to fit the center of tag and glued to the tag along with the bear images. I finished off by cutting and tying the tag with 18 inches of cording around the neck of a 15 oz. jar. The excess cording I tied into a bow and now all I need to do is add peanut M&Ms and I will have a happy husband.

As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.
Thanks for stopping by, hope your day is awesome and enjoy creating!

Home of the Free because of the Brave Tag

Hi everyone! I hope your Memorial Day has been a good one. We cooked out yesterday with the family since the weather for Monday called for rain...which it has rained heavily on and off today. So I decide to create a quick tag using a leftover diecut from the Caddy Bag Diecut

I inked up my glass tray with a mix of ColorBox Blends Uniform and Beach ink, added a little water and placed the diecut into the mix of ink and water. I moved it around a bit and this is the results I got.

I wove an assortment of paper strips on the edge of the tag and adhered into place.

I added the Tim Holtz paper doll off side of the tag and I printed from the computer a sentiment (I love this sentiment!) and inked the edges before adhering to the tag.

I finished the tag with a bit of Ric Rac and Blue Glossy Dots.  As always if you have any questions about this project let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Monday is wonderful and enjoy creating!

ClearSnap: Father's Day Mustache Pocket Box

Hi everyone! I'm back to share a quick Father's Day project I created for ClearSnap. Before cutting out the Flower Pocket Diecut I applied a total of four Adhesive Sheets to the front and back sides of the Mat Board. I cut 7 Gypsies Archtextures: Painted Door Cardstock to fit the front of the mat board, peeled the protective sheet off of the adhesive and placed the cardstock onto the mat board. On the back side of the mat board I cut 7 Gypsies Vintage Varsity: Stubs Cardstock (retired) and repeated the same steps as for the other cardstock. Once cut out I put together according to the directions on the packaging.

I cut from Kraft Cardstock a Medallion from the Medallion Diecut. Put together and inked with ColorBox Pigment Platinum Ink. I stamped the Mustache Rubber stamp onto a piece of white cardstock with ColorBox Archival Dye Wicked Black Ink. I fussy cut one of the mustache images out and adhered to the center of the medallion. Next I punched a circle out, embossed with the Starburst Embossing Folder and inked with the Platinum ink. I added a cording bow and sequins to finish off the pocket. Now all I need is some shaving supplies such as a razor, shaving cream, aftershave, etc. and its ready to give as a gift!

As always if you have questions please let me know.

Candid Strawberry Moments Layout

Pink and Main and ClearSnap Blog Hop

Welcome to our blog hop! We hope you enjoy the inspiration found on the teams blogs from Pink and Main and ClearSnap.
For my project I decided to create a layout using the Candid Moments Rubber Stamps Set and Rainbow Glossy Dots from Pink and Main and an assortment of Eileen Hull's ColorBox Blends from ClearSnap.

I started my layout by cutting the 12"x12" Cheerful Two Cardstock by Authentique down to 8"x8". Next I cut a ColorBox Creative Cards Tiny Dots in half. On a glass tray I inked the following ColorBox Blends onto the tray: Wildberry, Tutu, Frog and Leaf and I misted the inks with water. I loaded a brush with each color and applied the Tiny Dot card base. I then misted with water to get a running paint effect and once dry I inked the edges with Wildberry.

I stamped on a piece of watercolor paper one of the camera images using Archival Dye Wicked Black Ink.

I cleaned my tray off and inked with the ColorBox Blends: Ebony, Wildberry, Melon, Leaf, Uniform, Bay, Beach and Coconut and painted the camera image. Once dry I fussy cut the camera out.

I adhered the Tiny Dot card base slightly off center of the patterned piece of cardstock.

I cut a 1"x7" piece of yellow cardstock (I forgot to photograph this step 😟) and glued it near the edge of the Tiny Dot card base. I stamped the "enjoy the candid moments" sentiment with Archival Dye Wicked Black Ink and edged with ColorBox Cat's Eye Ice Jade Ink before adding to the layout. I pulled these adorable images from my phone of my grand daughter. I printed these four photos out using my Selphy printer and I adhered the three of the smaller photos to the yellow strip.

The larger photo I adhered to the opposite side of the three other photos, added the camera image and five glossy rainbow dots next to the sentiment. I finished off the layout with some pom pom trim and Ric Rac.

Now for the fun stuff!!!There are prizes available for this hop! Pink and Main will be giving a $25 gift code to their website, and Clear Snap will be giving away a prize pack valued at $25. Happy Dad Day Card

Hi everyone! I thought I would share a quick Father's Day card I created for ClearSnap. I started with a 5"x7" Kraft Card as the base. I cut a piece of white cardstock to fit inside the  Houndstooth Embossing Folder and embossed. I then spritzed with ClearSnap Platinum Smooch Spritz and once dry I inked the edges with ColorBox Pigment Metallic Black Ink. I wrapped cording three times around the embossed image, tied off on the front and center of the of the card and adhered two buttons to the center of the cording. I glued a patterned cardstock to the back of the embossed image before adhering the whole to piece to the card base.

I inked the Happy Dad Day rubber stamp with ClearSnap ColorBox Archival Dye Wicked Black Ink and stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. I cut a Black Cardstock slightly larger than the Happy Dad Day image and adhere both piece together and glue to the card base. There you have it an easy peasy card that you can whip out in no time at all!
As always if there are questions about this card please let me know.

I would also like to submit this card for the following challenges:

ClearSnap: Mother's Day Projects

Hi everyone! ClearSnap shared these Mother's Day projects I created over the past two weeks on their Instagram account and I'm now able to share.
First project is this simple card I created using the Tiny Dot ColorBox Creative Cards as a base for my card. I inked the "I love you mom" stamp with ColorBox Archival Wicked Black Ink. I dug into my cardstock scraps and double matted the sentiment and before adhering to the card I added a doily, more bits of cardstock and lace. I finished off the with a mini heart and two flowers and a leaves that I inked with the blue ink from the ColorBox Petal Point Pigment Ink and Iced Jade Chalk Ink. I let dry, shaped and added thread and a mini gem to each center before gluing to the card.

Next project is a gift card holder. I folded a 6.25"x3.125" Tag to create a pocket and then embossed with the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder and then I did a wash of ColorBox Blends Sunshine to the tag and once dry I lightly inked the raised images with Gold Ink. I adhered the flaps of the pocket to tag, added cardstock, lace, flowers and seam binding to finish this gift card holder off.

My third project is a gift box. I used the masking technique with the "I love you mom" rubber stamp. I used ColorBox Archival Wicked Black Ink to stamp the word mom onto a piece of white cardstock and inked the edges of the sentiment with Gold Ink. I cut a total of six Heart and Soul Flower Diecuts from white cardstock. I inked my glass tray with Melon, Tutu, Wildberry and Nutmeg.,spritzed with water and laid each flower into the watered down ink. Once I got the desired results I removed from the ink and let dry. I shaped each flower, adhered together and added a button, sequin and gem to the center. Before gluing to the top of the box I cut two of the sprigs of leaves from felt with the Spring Leaves Diecut. I glued to the back of the flower along with some loops of cording.

My fourth and finally Mother's Day project I cut from Mat Board the 3D Tea Cup Diecut and embossed with the Floral Tapestry Embossing Folder. I inked my glass tray with ColorBox Blends Sunshine Ink and watered down before painting all pieces of the tea cup. Once dry I put together according to the directions. I inked the Flower Rubber Stamp with ColorBox Archival Wicked Black Ink and stamped onto patterned cardstock the flower four times, fussy cut each flower out, slightly shaped before adhering together and adding two sequins to the center. Before gluing to the teacup I cut out a leaf from the Spring Leaves Diecut, I watered down Frog ColorBox Blends Ink and place the leaf into the mix and when almost dry I shaped the leaf with my hand and glued to the back of the leaf along with tulle and multi pastel colored thread. I added to the base of the tea cup mini flowers and a leaf sprig and there you have it!

Eileen Hull: Hello Tag

Hi everyone! I know I have been "missing in action" for a lot of April and the first part of May. April I had a nasty virus that just would not go away and on top of that allergies. The first part of May I went on a beach vacation which was much needed to say the least. I have been working on projects but haven't been able to share those at this moment but they are coming...I promise. 😊

This month on Eileen Hull's blog it is ALL about flowers! I created this tag using up leftover ink from one of my previous projects. I started with a blank white 6.25"x3.125" tag which I laid in the following watered down inks: Eileen Hull's ColorBox Blends Tutu, WildberryMelon and ColorBox Coral Premium Dye Ink. I moved the tag around in the mix of colors to cover the tag completely. I let it air dry but you can use an heat embossing tool to speed up the process. Once dry I embossed the tag with the Daisy Wreath Embossing Folder.

I cut from two different cardstocks the Embroidery Hoop Diecut and using one part of the diecut from each of the different cardstocks I adhered to the front of the tag. I wrapped the excess around the tag. I adhered a patterned cardstock to cover the back of the tag.

I stamped the Welcomegirl rubber stamp image onto a piece of watercolor paper and inked out onto my glass tray the following colors of ink: Golden, Stop, Uniform, Hydrangea, Melon and Nutmeg. I watered down each ink and then watercolored girl image. Once dry I fussy cut her out and adhered to the card.

I cut an assortment of flowers with white cardstock from the Stitchy Flowers and Leaf Diecuts and once I cleaned off my glass tray I spritzed the following Tattered Angel Simply Sheer Mists: Soft Peach and Peony and added just a little water to mute colors some. I laid the flower diecuts into each color doing both sides before removing to dry. I also cut one set of leaves from the Flower and Leaf Stitchlits. Once the flowers were dry I shaped with a stylus and adhered together.

I added an assortment of sequins and Dew Drops and Rainbow Glossy Dots to the center of the flowers and adhered to the tag along with bits of cheesecloth.

I stamped a Hello sentiment onto a piece of white cardstock and added a few sequins randomly placed to the tag. I finished off with three strands of trim and a button to the top of the tag.

Be sure to hop on over to Eileen's blog to see what the rest of the Inspiration Team has created! You can find past posts HERE. As always if you have questions about this project please let me know.

Also I would like to submit this tag for the following challenge:
