Even though here in the South it always seems we will never see cooler weather...we still have temperatures in the upper 80's and lower 90's...I decided to create an autumn shaker tag.
I peeled the backing from foam adhesive and place the solid journaling card diecut on top of the foam. I placed an assortment of micro beads and sequins into each leave and cut a piece of acetate/clear packaging to cover the front of the shaker tag. I peeled the backing carefully from the foam so the beads and sequins won't fall out and placed the acetate/packaging onto the foam.
I cut leaves from watercolor paper with the Leaves Diecut. I inked a glass tray with Coral, Dandelion and Leather Premium Dye Inks and add water to each color. I placed two of the leaves into the ink mixture until desired effect is achieved. While the leaves were still wet I shaped and let dry.
Once the leaves were dry I applied the Top Boss Clear Embossing Stamp Pad to the edges of the leaves and applied Copper Embossing Powder to stamped edges and set with the heat embossing tool.
I completed the same steps for both Gold Sparkle and Opalescent embossing powders as I as done with the copper embossing powder.
I would also like to submit this project for the following challenges:
