Foam-dori Journal

Hi there! I am back again with yet another project that I created for Eileen Hull's booth at CHA/Creativation.  This diecut I am very excited about its release since it can be used to make planners or dori's as they are called.
I used the Journal Diecut to cut the front and back of the journal from foam. I adhered the front and back together at the spine.

I used Fabri-Tac to adhered lace to the outside of the spine and inside. I also added Ric Rac and Pom Pom trim to dress up the outside of the dori.

I dressed up the inside of the dori with large Ric Rac and a lace pocket to hold notes, receipts or stickers.
I threaded elastic cording through the holes twice and tied off. This will hold four notebooks and in the center I threaded more elastic cording through the spine and tied off. This will keep this dori closed.

As you can see these journals are very easy to put together and they can be used for anything. Be sure to stop by Eileen Hull's BLOG and see what the other team members have been up to.If you have any questions please let me know!

Thanks for stopping by, hop your Tuesday is awesome and enjoy creating!
