Poinsettia Gift Box

Hi everyone! I'm back with my second project of the month for Momenta! Since Christmas is only nine days away I thought I would share a quick and easy gift box that can be mass produced.

I started by running the Baker's Box Cutting Template through the Freestyle Diecutting and Embossing Machine. I cut two diecuts out of Kraft Cardstock.

I folded and adhered the tabs and the bottom to create the box.

From scraps of cardstock from the Metallic Ink Paper Pad I cut four poinsettia, two holly and a couple leaf sprigs.

To create one flower I shaped two flowers and one holly with a Stylus. I adhered one flower on top of the other, added the holly and a leaf sprig to the back. I used a circle punch and punched a circle from one of the scraps of cardstock from the Peony Paper Pad and glued to the flower. I finished off by adding a sequin and glossy dot to the center of the flower and I did a messy loop of thread and glued behind the flower.

I adhered the finished poinsettia to the upper corner of the lid of the box. From my stash I added the Merry Christmas sentiment next to the flower.

As you can see there is plenty of room to add candy or even a small gift.  As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.
