Sewing Notions Drawers

Hi everyone! I am back for my final project of February! I created this sewing notions drawers from Eileen Hull's new diecut, Stacking Drawer Diecut that premiered  at Creativation in January.

Instead of stacking the drawers on top of each other I decided to place them side by side.

I cut three sets of drawers diecuts from Matboard and put together according to directions on the packaging. I adhered all three "walls" together and covered with patterned cardstock from Authentique. Actually all cardstock used on this project is from Authentique and if I remember correctly it from the Fabulous Collection.

I put all the drawers together and covered with cardstock outside and on the inside too. Before covering the inside with cardstock I added drawer pulls which I attached with brads.

I cut all the flowers and leaves from the Flowers and Leaves Jouranling Cards Diecuts.

I shaped all the flowers and added cording, lace, pearl top pins and mini spools to the top of the drawers.

I also added sequins and gems to the center of each flower.

I dressed up the outside edges by adhering decorative trim to both sides of the drawers. Be sure to stop by Eileen Hull's blog to see what the rest of the team has created! You can find these post HERE and HERE. As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

I would also like to submit this project for the following challenge:

You have all my Heart Tag

Hi everyone! I am back with another Valentine's Day project I created for ClearSnap inks and stamps!

I started by inking a glass tray with Melon Blends Ink, added water and placed the Tag into the ink mixture and let dry. (Side note tag doesn't have to be completely covered in ink.) I placed a piece of Acetate on top of the larger Hearts Journaling Card Diecut and place between cutting plates before running through the Diecut Machine. I removed all loose hearts so I could use the whole heart diecut as a stencil for my tag. I placed the heart stencil on top of the tag and loaded an Art Dauber with Rosebud Classic Pigment Ink and rub over the heart stencil. Next I loaded another Art Dauber with Watermelon Classic Pigment Ink and randomly rub over the heart stencil and let dry.

Next I inked the Exotic Mini Molding Mat with a mix of Petal Point Fluid Chalk Ink Pad: Soft Pastel- Alabaster and Creamy Brown Chalk Inks and stamp randomly over the tag and let dry.

I placed the row of hearts from the Thankful Clear Stamp Set onto the MISTI Stamping Tool and ink with Leather Premium Dye Ink and stamped onto the bottom corner of the tag. I glued a scrap of lace and flatback pearls underneath stamped image.

I cut three patterned gold paper straws and adhere together, wrapped with cording and tie and adhered to the tag.

I added five flatback pearls randomly to the stamped hearts.

I inked the Swirl Heart Rubber Stamp with Leather Premium Dye Ink and stamp onto a piece of colored cardstock, fussy cut heart out and adhered to straws. I doubled up two Pop Dots and place under heart.

I added three clear sequins to tag and cut 10 inches of lace, threaded through top and tie off and adhered button to top lace.

As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Tuesday is wonderful and enjoy creating!

Love Treat Tote

Hi everyone! I'm back with a quick and easy Valentine's Day project for ClearSnap!

I started by cutting one side of the Tiny Dots Creative Card off with a Paper Cutter. The final holder/tote should measure 4 1/8"x5 1/2". Next I measured one inch at the top of the card and measure one inch at the fold of the card and scored both at the one inch marks and folded.

I inked a decorative matboard piece (I used what I had in my stash) edges and outer corners with Rosebud Classic Pigment Ink. Once dry I inked around the edges of the diecut with Watermelon Classic Pigment Ink and let dry. I punched a heart from patterned cardstock, inked the edges of the heart punch with Rosebud Classic Pigment Ink and once dry adhered to the corner of the decorative diecut. I placed the swirl stamp with heart from the Thankful Clear Stamp Set onto the MISTI Stamping Tool and inked with Wicked Black Archival Dye Ink and stamp onto the decorative diecut. I added Clear Glitter Glue to the stamped image and let dry.

I placed a piece of an Adhesive Sheet on the back side of gold patterned cardstock and laid the "love" diecut from the Journaling Words Diecuts on the cutting plate plus the gold patterned cardstock and run through the Diecut Machine. I peeled the backing from the adhesive sheet and  placed the "love" diecut on the decorative diecut.  I punched a mini flower from patterned cardstock and place of the stamped heart and added a  Glossy Dot to the center of flower.

I placed candy in a clear bag and place in the candy tote.

I punched two holes through the tote and clear bag, added ribbon though holes and tied off with a bow.

I finished by adhering the decorative diecut underneath the bow. These really are quick to make and would make great little gifts for your family, co-workers or for a children's Valentine's Day party. As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Monday is wonderful and enjoy creating!

Vintage Heart Pocket Box

Hi everyone! I am back with a Valentine's Day project that I created for ClearSnap!

I started by placing the Matboard on top of the Heart Pocket Diecut only covering the whole heart...not the pocket. I cut two hearts from matboard and two hearts from patterned gold cardstock. I placed the matboard hearts, one at a time, in the Polka Dots Embossing Folder and run through diecut machine. I inked the glass tray with Tutu Blends Ink and added water and painted both matboard hearts.

Once both heart diecuts are dry I lightly inked over the embossed areas and edges of both hearts with Blush Pigment Ink and adhered patterned gold cardstock to the back of each matboard heart.

I placed patterned pink cardstock on top of the pocket of the Heart Pocket Diecut and ran through diecut machine. I adhered the tabs of the pocket diecut to the front of the embossed heart. Next I placed Adhesive Sheets on the front and back of a piece of matboard before placing patterned pink and gold cardstock on top of the matboard. I placed the covered matboard on top of the smaller "wall" of the Box, Make it 3D Diecut (retired) or you can use the walls/sides from the Bag, Coupon, Mini Shopping Diecut and cut two "walls".

I folded the tabs of the "walls" and adhere to patterned gold sides of both hearts and glued gold trim around the walls.

I cut a paper doily in half and adhere to pocket along with lace to the edge of pocket and three buttons to the lace.

I cut a small heart from the matboard and from the Tiny Dots Creative Cards using the Heart Pocket Diecut. I adhered the Tiny Dots on top of the matboard and inked the edges with Petal Point Fluid Chalk Ink Pad: Soft Pastel-Rose Coral Chalk Ink and adhered to pocket.

Next I cut four flowers and leaf sprigs from Crinoline fabric using the Journaling Cards, Flowers and Leaves Diecuts. I inked the glass tray with Melon Blends Ink, added water and laid all the flowers diecuts in the ink mixture. Once dry I added a drop of Beacon Adhesive Zip Dry Adhesive to the center of flower and placed the other flower diecut on top and pinch and shape. I completed the same steps for smaller flower. I finished off the larger flower by adding a gem to the center and adhered to the corner of the small heart on the pocket. I inked the glass tray with Shamrock and Citronella Dyestress Blendables Dye Inks, added water and laid both leaf sprigs in ink mixture. Once dry I glued the sprig underneath the flower on pocket, added Tulle, pearl sprig and gold Ric Rac to corner of pocket.

I added the smaller flower and one leaf from the leaf sprig to the bottom side of the heart and I added loops of gold thread underneath both flowers.

I punched a hole on both sides of the pocket and threaded 12 inches of seam binding through each hole, knotted and tie off on each side.

Now all you have to do is add candy for that special someone and tuck a small card in the pocket and it is ready to give as a gift and once it is empty it makes a nice wall hanging. As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

I would also like to submit this project for the following challenges:

Lacy Heart Notebook

Hi everyone! I'm back with a quick project I created from a mistake I made...YIKES!  When I was cutting out the cover and spine from the Passport Diecut. I was not thinking and laid the whole sheet of Matboard over the diecut cutting out the pages from matboard too. Well, instead of throwing it away I decided I would use it to create a mini notebook cover and add my own pages to it.

I placed the notebook diecut at the fold in the Lace Embossing Folder and placed and embossed both sides of the notebook. I loaded three Art Daubers with Moonstone, Citronella and Scuba Dyestress Blendable Dye Inks and inked with each color over the outside cover of the notebook.

Either cut six lined papers or carefully remove six pages from a mini notebook. I choose to remove pages from a mini notebook. 😁 I lined up with  holes of the cover, marked holes and punch with a small hole punch. I threaded white twine into needle and sewed inside pages to the cover and tied off on the inside.

I cut from white cardstock another notebook diecut from the Passport Diecut and cut in half. I cut another 1/4" off each side before adhering both to the inside cover. Next I cut two pieces of aqua cardstock to 2 1/2"x3" and emboss with the Lace Embossing Folder and cut both pockets at an angle and adhere to the inside cover.

I placed the Heart Cookie from the Cookies Clear Stamp onto an Acrylic Block and inked with Moonstone Dyestress Blendable Dye Ink and stamped onto a piece of White Cardstock. I fussy cut the heart out and lightly ink edges with Scuba Dyestress Blendable Dye Ink. I cut from Crinoline Fabric with the Journaling Cards, Heart Diecut using a Diecut Machine and inked one heart with Scuba Dyestress Blendable Dye Ink and let dry. From patterned cardstock I cut the smallest Scalloped Oval from the Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Scalloped Ovals large Diecuts using a diecut machine and adhered the Scalloped Oval Diecut, stamped heart, inked crinoline heart and two sequins to the front of the cover. I printed from the computer the word "NOTES", cut out and ink edges with Scuba Dyestress Blendable Dye Ink before adhering underneath the hearts on the cover. I use a binder clip to keep notebook closed when not in use.

As always if you have questions about this project please let me know.

Pretty Posies Trinket Box

Hi everyone! I'm back with the full reveal of one of my projects from Eileen Hull's newest diecut collection! This diecut is called the Trinket Box Diecut and this project along with the other Inspiration Teams projects were shown at Creativation! So exciting!

I cut two sides of each for the bottom and top parts and a top and bottom from Matboard. I also inked the outside edges of the lid and bottom. I used the Authentique Imagine Paper Collection to cover the inside and outside of my trinket box. I added the clasp to the lid and bottom.

And the hinges I had in my stash. I measured, punched holes and added those instead of the hinge diecuts that you can cut from the diecut.

I added the "feet" to the bottom of the box and corner protectors to the corners of the lid. I adhered Pom Pom trim around the top and bottom of the box.

Inside the box I adhered patterned cardstock and added trim around the edges of the lid and bottom of the box.

I adhered an assortment of patterned cardstock, vellum and lace to the top of the box. I added a paper doily from my stash.

The leaves and flowers are from the Journaling Cards, Flowers and Leaves Diecut and are cut from crinoline fabric. I inked the flowers with Sunshine Blends Ink and the leaves are inked with the Frog and Leaf Blends Inks. I also added store flowers from my stash and twine to finish off the lid. As always if you have questions about this projects please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Monday is awesome and enjoy creating!
