Mini Valentine's Day Cards

Hi everyone! I am back with another 10 minutes or less project (that is per card) to share with you. If you remember yesterday I made planner paper clips with one of Eileen Hull's diecuts. You can find that blog post HERE. Well, today I am using the Needle Book Scoreboard Diecut to make little Valentine's Day cards. I started by cutting from Pink and Ivory Dot Reverse and Navy and Kraft Mini Dot Reverse Cardstocks.

I folded all three of the pieces in half. The first two cards I used scraps from the 7 Gypsies Maritime 6"x6" pad. The fish and the ship I had fussy cut out before hand and was in with my stash of punch outs and diecuts that I keep handy. The fish is cut from the General Store on Ivory Cardstock. I used one of the banner diecuts from the Banners and Pennants Diecuts to make a little hat for the fish and placed a little punched out heart under its fin. The fish wasn't complete until I added a googlie eye to it. :-)

The ship cut out is from Bon Voyage on Ivory Cardstock and I tore a piece of cardstock and adhered over the bottom of the ship to create the look of water and  I adhered a punched out a heart to the front along with a sentiment. I forgot to add that all the sentiments are printed from the computer.

The basket of flowers is a printable that I had cut out and didn't use. I added it to the front of the card along with a scrap of Tan and Ivory French Script Cardstock and felt heart ribbon. I also added sequins, Dew Drops and a bit of lace and twine.

I plan on added these cards to packages that will be going out in the mail soon and think each card only took 10 minutes to create.

For more inspiration please check out Eileen Hull's blog HERE. If you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by, hope your Saturday is wonderful and enjoy creating!
