I started with a folded 6"x6" piece of cardstock, 4 1/2"x5 1/2" of patterned paper, two Embroidery Hoops and a Needle Book Diecuts as the base for the beginning of my card.
I inked the edges of the patterned paper and adhered off center of the card base.
Next I staggered the embroidery hoops dies over the needle book die and adhered to the back side of the needle book diecut.
This is what the front should look like and I didn't glue the hoops down on the front since I wanted to be able to add embellishments underneath.
I cut down three straws, splattered with paint and once dry tied thread around all three and adhered to the card.
I cut two of the larger leaves and one for the leaf sprigs from the Spring Leaves from white cardstock. I painted those with water colors and when almost dry I shaped and then splattered with brown water colors. Next I cut four of the Romance Flowers from white cardstock and did the same as I did with the leaves. Lastly I cut four of the Heart and Soul Flowers from cardstock, shaped and put together and added an extra large brad to the center. I adhered that along with the larger leaves and two of the smaller romance flowers to the lower half of the card.
I printed the sentiment from the computer, inked the edges and glued along with the other two flowers and the leaf sprig to the upper corner of the card.
I added a few fake berries, copper metallic thread and a mini pine cone to finish off my card.
