Reflecting
This year, 2011, has been a year of so much change.
Of lost…a relationship ending after 23 years of marriage.
Of old friends either standing strong with you in the middle of the storm or turning their backs on you and walking away.
Of meeting new friends in the most unlikely way or places.
Of remodeling a house from top to bottom…still in the process…and keeping your sanity.
Of finally getting my “creative groove” back when it felt like everything had been sucked out of me.
Of finally submitting some of my creations on a whim…that’s not the norm for me everything is thought out…for a design team call and being accepted.
Of learning how to blog…I profess I am not a profound writer with fancy words, who puts her comas in all the right places and who has a tendency to have a lot of run on sentences. Writing isn’t my comfort zone to say the least but for 2012 I want the blogging process to be stress free…yes I stress over it majorly…I want to enjoy the process more and just be me.
I haven’t made any new year resolutions just goals for the coming year.
I want for 2012 to be:
More involved with the design team.
Do at least one art journal page a week.
One challenge on the blog every two weeks.
Get my ArtFire shop up and running.
Host a monthly swap on the blog.
Be published.
I’m sure my list of goals will change and evolve as 2012 begins.
I want to share a project I created for Vintage Heartfelt Designs Design team challenge. There had to be snow, holly and tinsel incorperated some way on the tag. I hope you like what I created.
So here's to a new year…happy creating everyone!!!
P.S. So tell me what are your creative goals?
