Spooky Pumpkin Treat Baggie

Hi everyone and Happy Halloween! I wanted to hop on and share a quick treat holder I created!

I started by cutting a bag using the Treat Bag Diecut and putting it together according the directions on the packaging.

I cut out three pieces of the madallion diecuts that I had purchased from Coco and Reno and put together. I added that and a scrap skull border to the top portion of the bag.

I fussy cut a jack-o-lantern and adhered that along with three circle punches and a spooky sticker on top of the medallion. I finished off by adding several loops of green metallic thread behind the circle punches. Just add some candy and a clothes pin and it is ready to give to your favorite trick or treater! As always if you have any questions please let me know.

Coco and Reno: Medallion Diecuts

Finding Happiness Pocket Notebook

Hi everyone! I want to share my other journal I created for Eileen Hull for her trip to the UK in September using her newest Pocket Notebook Diecut.

First I gathered up an assortment of Maggie Holmes cardstock Collections to create this journal. Then I applied Adhesive Sheets to the front and back of Matboard before placing cardstock on the front and back of the matboard.

I placed the Pocket Notebook Diecut on top of the matboard and run through the Diecut Machine. I cut two covers out.

I lined up the holes on the spine where only three holes showed both on the top and bottom and adhered together. I cut cardstock to fit both the inside and outside of the spine. I used a Crop A Dile to punch holes and set eyelets in the spine. I also added the elastic cording and tied off inside the spine.

I used the Nestled Borders Rectangles Diecut, stickers, pom pom trim, heart and gem and a couple of flowers and a leaf from Eileen's Flowers and Leaves Journaling Cards Diecuts to decorate the cover of the journal. If you haven't checked out the rest of the Inspiration Team's projects on Eileen's blog you can find those posts: HERE, HERE, HEREHERE and HERE. As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Blooming Birthday Folded Card

Hi everyone! I am back again with another fun project that I created using Eileen Hull's newest Gift Card Folder and Label 2 Diecut but I turned it into a fun little card.

I started this project by placing a piece of White Chipboard on top of the Gift Card Folder and Label #2 Diecut, running it through the Diecut Machine and I folded all four sides of the diecut down. I inked a glass tray with Melon and Wildberry Blends Inks, added water to each ink and placed the diecut in the ink mixture. I covered completely on both sides of diecut. Once I had it covered I removed and let dry.

I placed each flap of diecut into the Damask 2 Embossing Folder and run through the diecut machine. I cut a strip of patterned cardstock 1/2"x8", wrapped around the folded card and adhered the ends together to create a belly band. Next I placed the heart stamp from the Bible Clear Stamps onto the MISTI Stamping Tool, inked with Wicked Black Archival Dye Ink and stamped onto a piece of Watercolor Paper  I inked two Art Daubers with Salmon and Princess Dyestress Blendable Dye Ink and inked the center of the heart with Salmon and the outer edges of the heart with Princess. I fussy cut only the stamped heart out.

I inked the glass tray with Caribbean Dyestress Blendable Dye Ink, added water to the ink and painted a scrap of watercolor paper. Once dry I inked the Simple Dots Rollagraph with Tahiti Dyestress Blendable Dye Ink and rolled onto the painted scrap of watercolor paper. I punched a circle from paper and adhered to the belly band. I cut a "v" in a small scrap of decorated watercolor paper and adhered to the circle punch on the belly band along with stamped heart, flower and a leaf from my stash. I also added a gem to center of flower.

I placed the Blooming Birthday stamp and the leaves stamp from the Blooming Floral Diecuts and Stamps onto the MISTI Stamping Tool and inked both with Wicked Black Archival Dye Ink and stamped onto a piece of watercolor paper.

I placed the matching diecut over the stamped sentiment and leaves, secured both with washi tape and run through the diecut machine. I inked the glass tray with Inchworm Dyestress Blendable Dye Ink, added water and painted the stamped leaves image. I adhered the sentiment, stamped leaves and flower which was from my stash and added sequins and a gem to center of flower. There you have it a small card that can be added to a birthday present. I think I might try and do some different theme cards just for the fun of it. As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Bird and Flowers Altered Bird House

Hi everyone! I am back with another project and this time I altered a birdhouse that I had bought at Target in the One Spot on clearance. It was a Halloween theme birdhouse but I had in mind to do something different with it and this is what I came up with.

I started by tracing the sides and roof onto a piece of paper, I cut out each piece to create a pattern. I then traced the patterns onto watercolor paper and cut each piece out.

I inked the glass tray with Papaya Cream Pigment Ink from the Mermaid Paintbox Collection, added water to the ink and painted all four Watercolor Paper walls and let dry.

I inked an Art Dauber with Papaya Cream Pigment Ink from the Mermaid Paintbox Collection and inked the edges of all the walls. I inked the Ornate Border Molding Mat with Berry Pigment Ink from the Mermaid Paintbox Collection and stamped each of the four walls and once dry adhered each wall to the wooden birdhouse.

I cut four pieces of watercolor paper to fit the roof. And with a scallop edge punch, I punched one side of the watercolor paper, cut another piece of watercolor paper and folded in half. Then I punched both sides with the scallop edge punch. I also punched a Circle from a scrap of watercolor paper. Next I inked a glass tray with Rose Gold Pigment Ink from the Mermaid Paintbox Collection and added water, placed all the roof and circle pieces into the ink mixture and once I got the desired effect I wanted I removed and let dry.

I inked the Simple Dot Rollagraph with Espresso Pigment Ink from the Taos Petal Point Collection and inked all roof pieces.

I adhered all roof pieces to the wooden birdhouse roof. I also added gems to each scalloped edge of roof and adhered the inked circle punch to front of the birdhouse. I added gems underneath the roof on the front of birdhouse, cut and adhered the lace to the front and back of the roof edge.

I placed the bird and wing diecuts from the Birds and Butterflies Diecuts on top of the Handwritten Creative Card and run through the diecut machine. I cut two of each out of the bird and wing. I reversed the Handwritten Creative Card so bird diecuts could be glued together.

Next I inked art daubers with Gulfstream and Coastal Pigment Inks from the Mermaid Paintbox Collection and inked the bird and both wings diecuts. I placed the wings to each side of bird and adhered the bird to roof. I finished by adhering the bow, pearl sprays, flowers and leaves to bird. As always if you have any questions about this project please let me know.
