Five and Dime Mini Album

Hi everyone! I'm back with a fun little album I created with toilet paper rolls, Eileen Hull's Book Binding Diecut and Amyjdelightful's Small Town Feel Printable. I was selected to be a "Project Girl" for Amy this month on her instagram page which you can find HERE.

I gathered up an assortment of cardstock, leftover scraps, four of 1.75" Expander Discs and a pair of scissors and began fussy cutting all of the images out from the printable.

Before I embellished I flattened, added patterned cardstock to each TP roll and used the Book Binding Diecut  before adding pockets and tuck spots to the pages.

I cut a Medallion Diecut out and adhered the 25 cent printable to the center.

The paper bow I received in a swap so I added a flower to the center before embellishing the page.

 I cut some of the tags with the Bookplate, Hinges and Label Diecuts. and added printables and tabs.

On the backside of the tags I adhered some of the printables to create mini pockets to hold tags.

Tsunami Rose Designs: Rose Notecard Tags

Hi everyone! I am here to share three tags I created for Tsunami Rose Designs using printables out of the Ephemera Set #12, Junk Journal Kit-Rose Notecards, and Rose Clipart Floral Set #14.
I started by cutting three tags from the Junk Journal Kit-Rose Notecards Set using the Tim Holtz's Tag and Bookplate diecut. I added lace tassels to each tag which I finished off with a button and pink thread. I side note the lace had been cut from a curtain that was going to be thrown away. 😊

The first tag I fussy cut the bird cage and roses out from the Ephemera Set #12 and Rose Clipart Floral Set #14 and placed over an embossed scalloped circle. I added a line of adhesive down the back of each images. This way you can still add bits of gold thread and pearl sprays  behind the images. I also added patterned cardstock, sequins, a felt heart and trim.

The second tag I fussy cut more images from the same two kits that I had used on the tag above. Once the image were cut out I adhered the butterfly wings to the back of the dress form before gluing to the tag along with patterned cardstock. I added the flower image along with a punched and shaped flower, pearl sprays and green thread to create a quick but elegant tag.

The last tag I fussy cut the rose vase and woman from the Rose Clipart Floral Set #14. I chose to go a little quirky with this tag. I cut from patterned cardstock a Spellbinders Long Scalloped Rectangles Large and adhered off center of the tag. I then added the woman and the rose vase which I turned upside down and adhered to her head. I added a mini flat back pearl to the necklace, a sequin and gem to the center of the rose, green thread and pearl sprays to the rose vase. To finish of this tag I adhered a bit of pink velvet ribbon and button and thread.

I added Stickles to all of the flowers on the tags to give each tag a little sparkle. 😊 As always if you have any questions please let me know.

Tsunami Rose Designs: Firmin Riviere Junk Journal

Hi everyone! I am here to share my very first project as a design team member with Tsunami Rose Designs!!!

I used a variety of printables from Tsunami Rose's etsy shop for this journal. Besides the printables being gorgeous they are ALL 50% off until September 1st...meaning everything in the shop is $2.50 including journaling kits!!! :-)

For the base of my junk journal I started with a file folder.  I cut the folder down with the front and back being 5 3/4"x8 5/8" with a 1 1/2" and 2" fold over for tuck spots inside and the spine being 1 1/2" wide.

I adhered leftover cardstock/scrapbook paper to the covers both inside and out along with printables from Collage Cards Set 2 and Ephemera Set 3. I covered the spine with lace. I used a combination of Zip Dry and 3 in 1 adhesives since everything won't come apart and the 3 in 1 "grabs" and dries quickly. Both adhesives are made by Beacon Adhesives.

And the inside before the flaps are folded down and adhered to create pockets.

I coffee dyed regular copy paper...my first time. It's a lot of work but looks great. :-)

The journal has three signatures with eight papers per signature.

I used the Ephemera Set 3 for these pages. The pull out is actually a small booklet. I folded the printable in half and added coffee dyed notebook paper along with scraps of cardstock, rub ons and some of the printables I fussy cut and added to the pages too. 

I used the Vintage Shipping Tag Collection on these pages along with some other free printables that can be found on the Tsunami Rose Designs blog.

I created pockets out of some of the printables and I added some of the Library Cards 2 Set 3 through out the journal. Also I used a little bag from an order I had received and a coin roll as a page tab.

More free printables from the blog. The one with the kitten I fussy cut and adhered the corners to the tag to create a pocket and then added more printables as tags.

I cut the bottoms off of two of the tags from the Vintage Shipping Tag Collection, the tiny row of roses and fussy cut those out and added to both sides of the decorative gift bag. Then I punched holes in the tags and added fiber to the tops of them.

Even though I used a variety of printables from Tsunami Rose's etsy shop instead of a kit I think the journal has turned out lovely.

Canvas Corp: Noel Saggy Baggy

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a gift bag I decorated using a Lime Green Saggy Baggy and a Petaloo DIY Burlap Wild Sunflower paintable flower. This was a super quick and easy project to put together and was less than an hour to complete.

I spritzed the flower with Plain Jane Fire Baseboard Mist and let dry (you can use a blow dry to speed up the process).

I cut from the Green Burlap Sheet a Holly leaf used the Holly Branch Diecut, applied Mod Podge to the front of the leaf and once dry I spritzed with Kiwi Glimmer Mist.  I cut two inches of lace from the Lace Trimmings Assorted Pack and gathered in the center and tied off with Jute Cord. I tied off two more bows with the  Jute Cord and then adhered all the pieces to the bag with Beacon Adhesives Fabri-Tac.

I clipped to the jute cord a Mini Lime Green Clothespin and a tag from the Krafty Christmas Assortment of Tags. I added a button and a dew drop to the tag to finish it off. Oh so simply to decorate you can whip a bunch out in no time.

"Tweet"-ness

Hi everyone! I'm here to share a project I created for Eileen Hull's Art with Heart Project of Love Challenge. I used the Sizzix Scoreboards XL Die Box Square which I cut from the Sizzix Mat Board Pack 6 Cream Sheets.  One of the box sides I cut  off the lid so it could be open. I then cover with Express Yourself Gypsy Moments Cardstock on the outside and on the inside I covered with Express Yourself Gypsy Moments Cardstock. I decorated the front with hearts that was diecut and punched along with a little bird that I fussy cut from the Conservatory Paper Pack. I finished off the front with some cute embellishments, adhered trim around the top of the box and the screw fasteners I added to the bottom of the box.

The files I cut from the Sizzix Framelits Die Set 4pk with Stamps Gypsy Files but I wanted the files longer so I folder the cardstock in half and cut and I then cut papers from both the Conservatory and the Morceaux paper pads and adhered to both sides. I created pockets from the Poses and Reflections Gypsy Moments Cardstock and added embellishments along with Conservatory tags.

These tags are actually packaging from some 7 Gypsy product. 

The backside of the tags I didn't have to add much just a little bit of paper, Postale Paper Tape and twine.

I wasn't sure how everything was going to turn out when I started but I can honestly say I love the "tweet" little bird and hearts on the front of the box along with all the tags inside the box. :-) If you have any questions about this project or any of the products I used please let me know.
