Party Time
Hi everyone! I'm here to share a card I created for the Crafty Card Gallery blog. This month's theme is chocolate, cookies or sweets. Well, since I have an embossing folder of cupcakes and I found this cupcake journal card which is from Crate Paper I thought this is the perfect combo. The cardbase measures 4"x5" folded and the cardstock is from Craft Smith Gradients Collection.
I added a red sequin and a red dew drop to the cupcake to finish off this card. I went simple this month because of the fact that I pinched for time and for fear of loosing electricity since we got about an inch of rain which turned to ice but so far so good I still have power. :-)
If you have any questions please let me know.

As I was cleaning and getting stuff up to take to Goodwill I came across this music jewelry box that one of my step-daughters had. It was missing a drawer but I decided there was potential in maybe altering this later on. Well, almost two years later this is what I came up with.
I started off by taking the doors and hardware off.
Also I pulled out the dirty and stained velvet fabric that was inside each drawer.
I sanded all pieces lightly and added a coat of house paint sample that I had got for free at Lowes.
Next I measured the drawer sides and fronts, sides and back of the jewelry box and cut from the Robin's Egg Blue Glitter Cardstock, Moss Green Glitter Cardstock, Awning Spa Glitter Cardstock to fit which I adhered all with Antique Mod Podge.
The inside of the drawers I lined with Aquamarine Sorbet Cardstock which I embossed the bottom with the Geometric Ring folder and added a little lace around the edges.
The door inserts I cut from the Sour Apple Glitter Cardstock and embossed with the Polka Dot folder. I also added Metallic Teal Dew Drops and a sequins to each of the door knobs and drawer pulls.
The back I carefully cut an opening for the music wind up and then adhered the Awning Spa Glitter Cardstock to the back of the jewelry box.
For the flowers I used Sky Blue Glitter Cardstock, Sour Apple Glitter Cardstock, Goldenberry Dew Drops, Irredescent Classic Glitter Swirl Vellum and a variety of Robin's Nest scrap cardstock to create these beautiful flowers.
If you have any questions about this project please let me know. Also please stop by the The Robin's Nest everyday to vote on my project. All votes would be greatly appreciated.

The Robin's Nest: Snow Flurry Tray
Hi everyone! I'm here to share a project I created for the Robin's Nest. This year has flown by and can you believe that Christmas is only two months away!?!?!? Most of the time I have over half of my shopping finished and a few presents already made but not this year. Gulp! Well, since the Robin's Nest Alter Art design team is cross promoting with Walnut Hollow and one of my choices was the 10"x12" rectangular tray I decided to altered it into something Christmas/Winter related and this is what I came up with.

Fabulous Fall
Hi everyone and Happy World Card Making Day! I'm here to share a quick card I created using mostly Robin's Nest product. I started by cutting a 6"X12" piece of Wineberry Glitter Cardstock and folded to make a 6"X6" card base. Cut a piece of Honeycomb Daisy Glitter Cardstock to 5 1/4"X 5 1/4" and adhere to the base of the card. Next cut eight banners in various sizes and adhere to the side of the card. Top off with two buttons and some hemp twine. Cut the following pieces of cardstock by: 4 1/2"X4 3/8", 4"X4 1/8" (crumple and use edge punch on one side) and 3"X3 3/4" (Emboss with the Swirl embossing folder). Ink all edges, adhere together and add pop dots before gluing to card. Make three sets of hemp bows and adhere to the underneath side of the mats. Fussy cut digis leaves out, add a touch of Stickles and glue to the card. Use a piece small cream colored cardstock and add rub-on and glue to card.
If you have any questions please let me know.

The Robin's Nest: Blue Dahlia
Hi everyone! I'm here to share a chest I created out of a Pringles can. Yep, that is right…a Pringles can. I looked on Pinterest and YouTube for inspiration and all I could find was cans decorated where the lid comes off and there was a few videos where both ends were cut off of the can and then a straight line was drawn and cut from one end to another. Then the ends were traced onto chipboard, cut out and adhered to each end. Well I thought why can't you leave the ends on and just trace the "lid" onto the can and then cut? Well, I'm going to show you how to create a Pringle's chest using this month's featured Floral Collection from the Robin's Nest. For more photos and how to create this little chest please head on over to the Chattering Robin's blog.
If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for stopping by, hope your Sunday is great and enjoy creating!

Friends Forever
Hi everyone! I'm here to share a fun card I created for the Paper Wings Productions July Challenge. The challenge for this month is use either wet or dry embossing in your project. I stumbled upon their blog last week and I had already started working on this card so I thought why not submit my card? :-)
For my card I cut from a 6"x12" piece of Light Red Plaid/Stripe cardstock and folded in half to create a 6"x6" card base. I used a variety of cardstock and sticker from the Lodge Collection along with Moss Green Glitter Cardstock, Irredescent Classic Glitter Swirl Vellum, Vanilla Fluer Glitter Cardstock and Dew Drops which can all be found over at the Robin's Nest.
I embossed a piece of Moss Green Glitter Cardstock with the Geometric Rings Embossing Folder for a fun background and I lightly inked the edges with some hot pink chalk ink. The friends printable I fussy cut out and added on top of the embossed cardstock and then I embellished with handmade flowers, sequins, dew drops, lace and twine.
I hope you enjoy my card I've created and if you have any questions please let me know.

Motorcycles and Father's Day
Hi everyone! I'm here to share a quick card I created and wish all of you fathers and fatherly figures out there a Happy Father's Day!!!
I made this card for my wonderful husband using the Motorcycle printable from Altered Pages. I fussy cut the red motorcycle from the sheet and added a paint chip, scraps of scrapbook paper, embossed gears and sprockets from a cuttlebug embossing folder, Tim Holtz gears and the cut out gears are from a swap I was in a few years back and I never had found a use for them until now. Oh, the base of the card is from a pack of card bases I got on clearance at Hobby Lobby a few years back too.
I wound up giving the card to my husband a day early since we rode to the Harley Davidson store and then over to Cade's Cove in the Smokey Mountains. We had used my camera to photograph our trip through the Cove and I knew once he got home and uploaded pics he would see the photos of the card. Even though it isn't a blue sportster Harley he liked the card anyway. :-)
If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for stopping by, hope your Sunday is wonderful and enjoy creating!!!

Lily Paper Doll and Some Exciting News!!!
Hi everyone!!! I'm back from vacationing at the beach. I wish there was some way we could live there permanently. I love the laid back, flip flops everyday and ocean breezes…maybe one day it will happen??? :-)
I have some exciting news to share though…I have been asked to be a part of The Mailbox Muse Design Team and…of course…I said yes since I love ALL thing vintage!!! You can join the club for the Mailbox Muse kits which gives you a discount on the kits and product at Altered Page web site, video access and other specials for a year too.
Also I would like to share a paper doll I created using the Lottie Stamp set from Pink Persimmon. I stamped out her head, arms and legs and then printed her body and dress pattern on white cardstock since I wanted her body to be sturdy. I cut everything out, used brads to attach the arms and legs to the body. Added a little blush to her cheeks and colors her lips with one of my markers.
Next I traced her dress onto Purple Flowers Glitter Cardstock and then cut out. I embossed the skirt with the flower embossing folder from Once Upon a Princess Cuttlebug set. I added lace, sequin and Purple Dew Drops to the dress and topped it off with a lily digis that I fussy cut and added Crystal Stickles to make it pop. I printed the lilies from the Altered Pages Vintage Easter Greeting college sheet.
To attach the dress to the paper doll I used baker's twine which I adhered underneath the lace on the sleeves of the dress. This way I can chance the clothes of my little paper doll.
If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for stopping by, hope your Monday is awesome and enjoying creating!!!

This and That
Hi everyone! It's me Tonya and I'm back this month to share what I created using the Regency Collections that is 20% off this month over at the Robin's Nest and Heartfelt Creations which we are crossing promoting.
I kinda went crazy this month with projects. Instead of just one I have the box I altered into a ATC holder, eight ATC cards and one card using all these wonderful products.
If you are ready lets get started. :-)
For the ATC holder first I found a box that was 3 1/2"x5". Find the center of the box on the 3 1/2" side, mark and drew a line down to the other 3 1/2" side. Cut and then folded down on either side to make holder more sturdy.
Make small holes for the "feet" that will hold up the box. Next gesso the sides and bottom of box.
Once the gesso is dry paint the sides and bottom of the box with black acrylic paint. Let dry. Cut five pieces of cardstock to cover the sides from the Gold Glitter Paisley Cardstock. I cut these a little bit smaller so a little of the black paint would show on the box. Also measure the inside bottom of the box and cut from the black glitter chipboard a piece to fit inside. I embossed it with the Flourish embossing folder and used Sahara Sand Chalk Ink to ink the edges of all the cardstock to give it an "aged" look. Adhere the Gold Glitter Paisley Cardstock to the sides and bottom of the holder. Next attach the "feet" to each corner of the holder with the brads that are included. Now adhere the black glitter chipboard to the inside of the holder.

The next project I created was some ATCs for my little holder. If you don't know what an ATC is here is the definition I pulled from the Internet.
I started with base of the ATC using the Vanilla Fluer Glitter Cardstock. It is double sided The children are from a digital sheet I got from Cassi's Creations. I fussie cut, chalked and added scraps of cardstock, dew drops, button, stickers and sentiments…printed from the computer and stamped. Also I found this mini playing card that I thought was perfect for the little "king of hearts".
The base of these two ATCs are cut from Gold Classic Swirl Glitter Cardstock. I inked both bases with chalk ink which turned nice. The butterflies I cut from scraps of Robin's Nest cardstock using the Bigz Beautiful Butterflies die. Adhered to the card along with a zipper pull, sequin, gold dew drops and dress pins for antennas.
The other ATC I cut from scraps a heart from the Hearts and Brackets die which I embossed with Gear Box embossing folder and added sprockets gears, game spinner also. I used the Burnished Key Custom Design Die Template to cut out a lock and key from the gold glitter Chipboard. Inked and then attached it with a ring fastener.
For the base of the lion ATC I used Calmity Jane Rose Glitter Cardstock, fussie cut the lion from the Red Lion Cardstock, used scraps and a sticker from the Regency Sticker Set.
The friend is ATC base is cut from Gold Classic Swirl Glitter Cardstock and inked in chalk ink. The sentiment is from the Clearly the Right Words stamp set and to top everything off I used a dolie and bird chipboard pieces, scraps of scrapbook paper, button and twine.
Both of these bases are cut from Gold Glitter Paisley Cardstock and the Cathedral Speciality Paper was used as an accent. Scraps were used on both along with a dress form and butterfly chipboard pieces, dew drops, flower punches, sentiments printed from the computer. The "grumpy fairy" is an image I cut from a Crafty Secrets sheet. The only problem was I had clipped off of the back side of the sheet another image and my fairy was missing an arm so I created the sign to cover up the fact she is a one armed fairy.
I hope you liked the ATCs I created for my holder. The plan is to use up scraps on ATCs and fill this little holder up. :-)
Also I had to come up with a card for my secret sister and since I had leftovers I decided to create a card. So I'm going to share. :-)
I cut a 5"x6 1/2" (approximate) card base from Gold Glitter Paisley Cardstock. I cut from the Vanilla Fluer Glitter Cardstock a piece a little bit smaller than the card base and stamped with the Summer Seasons Pre-cut Set from Heartfelt Creations in Timber Brown StazOn Ink.
Next I cut a piece of Cathedral Speciality Paper and adhered to the stamped piece. I embossed one end with the Fleur De Lis embossing folder and then inked all the edges.
I started with the black Fleur De Lis tag sticker and used Robin's Nest scraps to make two banners to add to the tag.
The little girl digital image is from Cassi's Creations. I wanted to add a little bit more color to her so I dragged out my chalk pastels (I've had these since elementary school…lol) and used a swab to add color to hair, cheeks and dress.
I also added a tab sticker which I stamped with Hello and I cut a Fleur De Les from the back side of the Gold Glitter Paisley Cardstock using the Fleur De Lis and Eiffel Tower diecut and added to the corner of the card. I topped it off with a Black Diamond Dew Drop.

I used Gold Glitter Chipboard to cut out the book plate that is on the front of my ATC holder. This diecut is from the Heartfelt Creations Burnished Key Custom Design Die Template. I printed the "This & That" sentiment from the computer and inked it to give it a vintage feel. I added an old ear ring that I had received in a swap several years. At the time I didn't know what I would even use it for??? Now it is the perfect addition to the bookplate and to top it off I added a purple Dew Drop.

Don't you think the holder has an elegant and vintage feel???
