Banner of Love

Hi everyone! It's me, Tonya and I'm here to share my project that I created for the Chattering Robin's blog using the Wild About U Collection which is 20% off this month. Also we are cross promoting wonderful laser cut chipboard pieces and die cuts with Gina's Designs. I came up with an adorable Valentine's Day banner that I created using small 4"x6" paper sacks, felt heart shape Christmas ornaments, red foil heart shape doilies and vintage children images some I found on the internet and one I got from a Crafty Secrets sheet of vintage images.

It's Your Day

Hi everyone!!! It's me Tonya and I'm here to share my card I created for the Crafty Card Gallery blog. The theme for this month is either black and white or penguins. Well, I do have some penguins stamps but decided to go the black and white route.  I used the backside of the Wind Flame with Thermal Icing , Black and White Glitter Border Swirl and Black Glitter Swirl on White cardstock from the Robin's Nest to create the base and decorate the front of my  5"x8" card along with some other scraps I had laying around. The corset diecut is from Gina's Designs which I painted with white acrylic paint and once dry I added extra fine glitter to the top of it. Next I added gathered lace to make a skirt and last but not least I printed out "It's Your Day" sentiment to the card.

Super easy card to make!!! It could be used either for a bridal shower or wedding card.

Winter Cup of Tea

Hi everyone! I'm back to share one of my projects I had in the works for Christmas but just ran out of time to get it posted. The first time I seen one of these paper tea cups was one that Renea shared on her blog. Oh my gosh!!! It was absolutely stunning and I knew I had to created one of these for myself. It is easy peasy to create too!!! All I had to do was print the Paper Tea Cup and Saucer pattern off on Boy Polka Dot Stamp cardstock and cut out and adhere everything together.

I used Zip Dry glue to adhere all the tea cup and saucer pieces together. It is a strong glue and you don't have to worry about your project coming apart either. Also I glimmer misted a paper doily and once dry I adhered on top of the saucer.

Now for the fun part…DECORATING!!!

I added a small amount of tissue paper inside the tea cup to give me something to adhere to. I googled vintage children images and found this sweet little girl all bundled up in her wintry finery and knew she would be perfect for my little tea cup. I printed her on hp soft gloss photo paper and then fussy cut her out. For her "wings" I cut a small section off of a snowflake Christmas ornament and added some more extra fine glitter. Once dry I glued to the back of my little girl and then I adhered her to the tissue paper.

I also used Silver Classic Glitter Cardstock to make the rosette, Winter Glitter Chipboard Snowflakes die cut and the Metallic Teal Dew Drops are all from the Robin's Nest.

The cardstock doily is from Gina's Designs which I cut in half.  I added different bits and pieces of lace inside the tea cup, sprigs of pearls and flowers. Next I added gesso here and there around on the lace and sprinkled glitter to give it a shimmery look.

I added another dew drop to some snowflake sequins on the handle and a flower bud with more pearl sprigs and I'm finished. I so love how this wintery tea cup fairy child turned out! I can see me making more of these in the future. :-)

Altered Mini Matchboxes of Love

Hi everyone! I'm here to share two 32 count matchboxes I altered. I used leftover scraps of Sorbet Glitter Cardstock, Red Glitter Stripe Cardstock and Pearl Dew Drops from the Robin's Nest. Also the little angel sticker is from the Robin's Nest but I can't find the link for it. I spruced the angel up with a little Stickles on the wings, gathered a little bit of lace which I adhered to her neck and added a Dew Drop.

The heart I used a small heart punch first on a piece of cardstock and then punched a larger heart around the smaller heart opening to create the outline of a heart.

A little bit of lace, buttons and a Dew Drop and you have a super cute matchbox to fill up with fun little goodies.

If you have any questions just give me a holler. Thanks for stopping by, hope your Tuesday is wonderful and enjoy creating!!!

Love and Roses

Hi there! I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas and New Years. Me? I did but I guess with all the on the go, non-stop running and trying to get everything finished caught up with me cause I wound up sick as a dog…chills, coughing, runny nose, aching mess kicked my tale end but after a visit to the doctor and meds I am feeling a lot better!!! YEAH!!!
I had a few more Christmas related projects that I had wanted to shared and when time permits I will get those posted but for now I want to share a quick card I created. The rubber stamp set is from Unity Stamp Company and the base of the card is a 6"x6" piece of cardstock folded in half to 3"x6". I used a variety of scraps of cardstock, scrapbook paper, paper doily and Pearl colored Dew Drops.

If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for stopping by, hope your Saturday is wonderful and enjoy creating!!!
